General

Yes. To sign and notarize your applications for public distribution, you will need an active Apple Developer Program membership to generate the necessary certificates and API keys.
Never. Gravity DMG integrates directly with the macOS Keychain. Your credentials stay on your machine, and we only reference the local "notarytool" profiles you've already configured or created within the app.

Technical

Gravity DMG is built for the modern Mac. It requires macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later and is fully optimized for both Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs.
Currently, Gravity DMG is a visual tool designed for a "hands-on" finishing process. However, you can save Build Templates as configuration files to ensure consistency across different versions of your app.
We support all standard Apple disk image formats including UDZO (standard), UDBZ (maximum compression), and ULFO (optimized for fast mounting).

Licensing & Pricing

Yes. We believe in tools that you own. Your purchase includes a lifetime license for the current major version, including all minor updates and bug fixes.
A single Pro License is valid for use by one developer on up to two machines (e.g., your iMac and your MacBook Pro).
Once the trial expires, the build and notarization features will be locked. To continue exporting professional, signed DMGs, you'll just need to purchase a license key and enter it directly within the app to pick up right where you left off.
